A disclaimer sticky in the Firearm forum for Commie-state newbies concerning buying/selling/etc. in their states would be a good idea.

Well since I can see that you care, here's my advice, and I'm by NO means an attorney.

The disclaimer would have to be in BOLD, "LAWS IN YOUR AREA WILL PROBABLY BE DIFFERENT THAN THE SUGGESTIONS PROVIDED ON THIS FORUM", "ALL AND ANY ADVICE PROVIDED ON THIS FORUM CONCERNING FIREARMS ARE SUBJECTS TO LAWS IN YOU STATES. SO THE LIABILITY OF RESEARCHING YOUR LAWS PRIOR TO COMPLETING ANY AND ALL TRANSACTIONS ARE SUBJECT TO YOUR STATES LAWS AND IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY". That's just a suggestion...

Maybe I'm being paranoid, but way toooooooo many new people are asking for BLIND advice...

I would agree, there seem to be a lot of these what gun should I buy threads lately. It could just be due to the "big gun rush" after the election tho, but you never know.

I musta missed the original thread all together..

But under the circumstances of the current political climate- I think that it would behoove the forum operator/s to construct some such disclaimer to CYA.

On the other hand- those in the commie states generally would have a few roadblocks to overcome in order to actually DO something illegal.

In other words- Many dealers refuse to ship to those States..

exactly problem solved......... No FFL is going to risk JAIL TIME shipping something that is illegal.

I just ignore most of the gun threads, since most of the discussions involve information that is useless to somebody who lives in my state.

If it says "AK" or "AR" or even "mags", I can safely skip it.

Sucks A$$.

Actually blind people do chat online. I have a blind friend who uses special programs to do so.

Yes, blind people do chat online. There's a program called JAWS that reads (spells out) what's on the screen to them, including punctuation. I've had blind students that could get around the Internet as fast as anyone else in their class. Blind transcriptionists can transcribe dictation with a headphone in one ear playing the dictation and a headphone in the other ear reading back what they've typed. It's amazing and takes several months of practice to master.

I think a lot of them are by products from the gold interest.

But I have a gun history in IPSIC & high power rifle comps.
Was dragging my feet about re-purchasing much I sold during divorce.

You got that right..........

Natural Law......... You should be able to defend yourself.

Trumps

State Law................ You cant have anything to defend yourself but 911, speed of law enforcement and the blessing of angles.

Forget that.
